About me? 

I am a 10 year old dancer that appeared on the show Dance Moms. My nickname is giggles. My name Giggles came from my former Hip Hop teacher. Every time she would call my name I would giggle so she nicknamed me GIGGLES. My birthday is July 4th, which I share with my twin brother Alex. I am originally from Utah, and currently dance at Millennium Dance Complex SLC and just love dancing so much! 

Greatest accomplishments? 

Some of my greatest accomplishments are being picking to be on the Abby Lee Miller Dance Company Mini team. I also won Dancer Of The Year for Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention in 2015. I have recently had the opportunity to be in National Commercials and work with numerous choreographers from around the world.  

When did you start dancing? 

I started dancing when I was 3 years old. I starting in a mommy and me class. I competed my first solo when I was 4 years old. Dancing has always been a big part of my life. 

Favorite style of dance? Why?

 I have two favorite styles of dance! Contemporary and Hip Hop. I love contemporary because you can expression yourself and be free. I love hip hop because you can be sassy and funky. 

What's your best dance memory?

My first dance memory was my first solo named  Funky Ballerina. I was nervous and excited to perform on the stage for the first time. Once it was over I loved everything about it. 

Greatest challenge as a dancer? 

I have found preparing for an audition can be challenging. I like to listen to my headphones before each competition/audition, it helps me get focused and in the zone. I also do not watch anyone before me, so I stay prepared and focused. I also do some improv to get my body flowing. 

Advice to other dancers?

I have learned everyone makes mistakes and that's ok. Actually, when you make a mistake it means you are pushing yourself to be better and that's a good thing. The most important part of dance is to never give up and believe in yourself.
