I bought these for my friend since we were taking a dance class together. She feel in love with them!

They are very comfortable, and they provide good support. I had foot surgery and I was worried I might have to give up my ballet exercise class, but with these sneakers protecting my foot, I think I will be able to continue them.

I love using these shoes for zumba. I'm so much more in touch with the floor! I usually wear a size 7 shoe. I first ordered a size 8 leather pair. I like them and they're okay if my toe nails are at their shortest. I ordered a second pair, keeping the first also. This is the second pair which is canvas and a size 8.5. The fit on these is perfect, so I would say to buy 1.5 size larger. I definitely like dancing in them.

I've found that all Bloch Amalgam shoes run a bit small. The leather ones stretch to fit pretty quickly. The canvas do not. The two styles also have a slightly different feel. I have a couple of pairs of each and switch, depending on whim. If you do a lot of jumping, you do need a strong foot/strong arch to be happy with this shoe.

I received my order of size 11, but it's very small compared to my size 11 shoes
