Very well crafted. Fit is grest. My son loves them.
Would highly reccomend, but BEWARE.... had to order 2 whole sizes larger than his "street shoes" to get proper fit.
Good tap shoes

My street shoe size is a 7W/7.5M, so after reading the other reviews, I ordered an 8M (wides were out of stock). The length just barely fits me. I would also say that these run narrow, but since I'm going for a tighter fit, I'm ok with that. The leather is already soft, so they were comfortable right away. But I mean, come on, we're buying these because they look SO COOL!

I ordered the shoe in my size, but they ended up being a full size smaller.
Just the thing for MEN in a 1920s musical - Costumer, Actor & Choreographer approved!

I'm a professional theatrical Costume Designer who looked all over for men's two-tone tap shoes. Not only were these competitively priced, the look and quality is outstanding. Veteran choreographer approved of the sound. Terrific flare onstage; from the audience they look like real shoes, not just dance shoes. Actor wants to buy them for himself - he's been wanting a pair of two-tone taps to really stand out when he's auditioning. He wears a 9-9.5 street shoe, and liked the fit of the 11 as opposed to the 11.5 (preferred them to be on the snug side). Half-sole of dance rubber is great, as is the split sole. I purchased two pairs (removed the taps and had a cobbler dance rubber the ball & heel) so the second pair could be used in an extremely athletic Charleston number in the show. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING! Called and the representative personally checked the stock on the shelf, then found a distributor closer to me so I would get the items as quickly as possible. Danzia is now my go-to for dance shoes, for the customer service alone.
Love them!

I've wanted some tuxedo taps for years and I finally bought these for a show at my college. Not only do they show up perfect on stage but they have a really nice, even sound. They have great support for easy toe stands (although this is coming from someone whom has danced in split sole taps for the last few years) and I had them broken in after one rehearsal. My only problem was that the screws came loose a bit quicker than what I expected, but that's easily handled with a screwdriver
